Animal Chiropractic

Dr. Chris began treating animals within around 3 years of graduating with his 'human' chiropractic qualifications.

Firstly, it began with the occasional existing 'human' patient asking if he might have a look at a lameness issue with their dog, and before long, he had a car park full of dogs waiting to be treated at the end of a shift.

Soon after, he began treating horses also.

By the time he had completed his post-graduate studies in Animal Chiropractic at RMIT, Dr. Chris had regular time slots in his week for treating animals.

Because of his background in teaching at the University of NSW, Dr. Chris was asked to form part of the lecturing team for the course for the following 9 years. He regularly taught subjects including neurology, biomechanics, Chiropractic principles, adjusting technique, examination & assessment skills, amongst others.

Nowadays, Dr. Chris has a difficult juggling act of trying to balance his human and animal chiropractic practices, with both seeing him in high demand.

Dr. Chris has also provided chiropractic care for the South Australian Mounted Police horses, and has featured in a number of television appearances including Adelaide's A Current Affair, and 'Totally Wild’, along with magazine features.

We are more than happy to work with your Vet, for the best outcomes for your 4-legged friend. As a general rule, a veterinary referral is preferred. If you don’t have a usual vet to organise a referral, let us know, as we may be able to help you organise a referral.
